mp3 preview error

Hi Ralf:

1. Thanks for all the help. I followed your tutorial on creating a preview button for an mp3 but I received an errror. The button says error instead of the mp3 name and it doesn't play the mp3.

2. Is it possible to leave the preview at the original quality instead of converting to 64kps?

3. Can we use these previews outside of our tradbit subdomain? For example: can we place a button preview on ebay?

4. Can we have mp3 button previews for items that aren't mp3s? For example: can we place a preview button on an ebook or zip files containing mp3s?

THANKS!

Hi Ralf:
I'm confused. Both of the mp3 previews I have set up are set to private. The one you produced for me works when I click on the "P" but it doesn't show up along side of my product. Also, I can't reproduce a playable embedded mp3. I've tried to make the previews public but they revert back to private.

ok, here we go: it is not a bug, it is a feature :-) ... the music with previews needs to be public, otherwise the player is confused:

Ok Ralf... I figured out that the preview mp3s are attached as a link (to the text that reads "preview") but they do not show up as a embedded player. When I choose the "P" to view the preview I still get the error on the ebedded player (both windows and flash).

Joe,

following our "mantra" of upload here, sell anywhere, the Preview field takes ANY url! That means, that you can leave the preview as it is, or create your own locally on your PC with an intro (I do believe, that high quality previews with a personal intro from the artists would help selling!).

I will look, what happened with the preview. It should not create an error if it is a standard MP3 file!
