Autoresponder

Hi,

Do you allow an autoresponder/opt-in email form on the vendors home page?

I'm thinking of adding lead capture either as a squeeze page to the home page, or to the navigation column, but want to be sure its okay by tradebit.

Thanks,

Hi Ralf,

I looked at the pricing for campaignmonitor and see that it's even more expensive than services like aweber or getresponse. I'm sure that they are very well worth the money, but using an expensive mailing list/autoresponder service to sell cheap tradebit products (under $7) makes no sense to me. That's like driving a Mercedes Benze to the supermarket to buy the cheapest generic/no-brand products from Wallmart!

Given the pricing of campaignmonitor, I intend to use either sendfree.com where it costs about $20 p/m for 30,000 prospects, or freeautobot.com which costs nothing.

You said in a previous response it would be ok to use an autoresponder on my tradebit home page; but are you still okay if I use one of those cheap or free services instead of campaignmonitor?

hi stan,

sorry for delay... yes, we are using campaignmonitor.com to handle the mailing lists externally. They provide an API, which we have integrated to work with tradebit. You have to load some credits into your account there to use certain features and especially to send out the emails to your list. They are very well worth the money. You get tracking infos, click-thru rates, delivered mails, etc. a whole lot of great features you need for a professional mailing list.

Hi Ralf,

I created a mailing list with downloads to motivate prospects on campaignmonitor through the Tradebit system and also created a few test autoresponders messages.

The system response was:
"Your autoresponder isn't active yet. Once you've set everything up, click this button to start the autoresponder".

So I them clicked the button to "Start autoresponder", but then I got this error message:
"Sorry, we couldn't start your autoresponder because... "
"You don't have sufficient credits to start this autoresponder. You'll want to get in touch with Tradebit Inc. to grab some more credits."

Does this mean there is some additional payment required to run the autoresponder service on campaignmonitor through Tradebit?

If so, what is the pricing and how do we proceed further?

The mailing list service is great, but would prefer to use it in conjunction with the autoresponder service as well.

Thank you,
