Introducing Group Subscriptions

Thanks to sfxguru, you have now the possiblity to create groups with a subscription feature:

"Browse my groups"

and click on the name of the group.

You will see the new feature down in the form.

=> Subscriptions

Define a price and a billing period, add some restricted files and take a look at your subpage:

LOGIN.tradebit.com/groups.php

The groups you have priced are now having a PayPal Button for new users to subscribe (or pay for entry)...

You can see an example here:

[puzzler.tradebit.com]

Build you own club and give 10% discounts or build a usergroup with subscriptions for free stuff...
you name it...

I do hope everything is working, because the feature is fresh from the oven...

Cheers,
Puzzler

paul, i have created a test group for you:

[cellopro.tradebit.com]

on your subdomain... you may look under "Groups" in the member section!

I believe we disabled subscription payments for the publishers, because that commission model did not work. One more thing for the to do list!

One question:

First, where the heck IS the "subscription" button/field? I've clicked on my group and am in the "edit" section, but see nothing of the sort. Yes, I'm logged in correctly too.

I'm not as .php savvy as the rest of you, but do understand scripting, so I'm not a total loser, and yes, this is my first ecommerce website attempt, and I'm trying to make it look streamlined and professional.

This feature was extended more during the last week, and minor bugs were removed. On of our cool merchants, sfxguru, started now to use this feature heavily and thanks to him, we were able to tailor this functionality to a practical, all day use. Check that feature out, it is really really nice!
