this is the second time i have seen this happen in the past week. i make a sale and 15 minutes later i get an email that there was paypal reversal/refund. 15 minutes? how is that possible? does paypal have some kind of unspoken policy that it automatically refunds if the buyer opens a dispute within 60 seconds of purchase? or is somebody at tradebit just granting refunds as soon as the buyer opens a dispute on certain days of the week or times of day? really, though, i am baffled. has anyone else seen this sort of thing?
thanks

from our own website. That means we were our own affiliate. About 100 visitors lead to one sale here. That is an amazing conversion rate. The commission is 70%, that is tradbit's maximum. Why don't other affiliates jump on the money train?

Hi! I seem to have a problem with my files in your search engine! They don't seem to show up on your website at all, whether I search using part or all of the title.

Only one of my products shows up(Boss DR-5 Samples - Phatrax Productions) but when I search for my other files labelled "Akai MPC Multi Samples" which have variations depending on the files it contains, they don't show up! they are all in the 'Sound Design Elements' category, previously they were all in the 'Royaly Free Productions' category.

I hope that this can be resolved, so that I can continue using your website, as my files are just sitting in the system and no potential customers will be able to buy them if they do not show up, I won't post anymore files at the moment until this issue is resolved as I will be wasting my time if they do not show up!

I look forward to your reply, and possible explanation and advise.
In the POWER ADMIN section, you are able to build NEW products out of files you already have in the catalog, These new files we call "Collections" and are just made up of different single products.

Two of my existing products, when I edited them, were flagged by the copyright checker (?) for manual review and activation. The same happened to one of the products I newly added. Fine, it happens now and then but tradebit support has usually been great in approving them fast. This time though, it has been almost 3 days and the file is yet to be reviewed/activated. Could you please expedite the process? Thanks.

On another note, none of the support tickets I sent to tradebit support in the past week have been answered...yet! :(

Hey Ralf,

Is the dupe file finder s/w at works even when one updates/edits existing files?? If it is so, wont ppl hesitate to edit/ make changes to their existing files even if there are some obvious wrongs on their existing listings? Just wonder

alright: 2 answers for 2 questions:

a) the dupe file finder is brand new. If you have a file that was filtered out: mail me the URL, so I can look! It is linkable and sellable, just not published in the tradebit catalog...

b) a 0$ sale is most always a re-activated sale... if you look for the buyers email, you will probably find an earlier sale for that customer...

Hey guys,

I got the same message too when I was updating a file and saving it, no others have listed that file. I think this has got to be the new Duplicate Finder software that tradebit has just released, and this error seems to be a bug in the s/w. But I would have to state that though that message was displayed, the file still gets listed in the tradebit catalog, maybe because it is a unique file (unique description and all)

Also Ralf, as I told you by email, some one bought a file of mine for 0 $, when infact I had set the price of the file to x$. Please investigate the issue and let me know.

Hey guys today I started getting the message 'File seems to exist in the catalog already, so it will not be promoted on tradebit... You can link and sell, though!' when I updated an existing listing with a newer version of the pdf file. I made some improvements to the file and uploaded the file and kept the same file name. Can you tell me what this message means?

I forgot to add that Paypal has its issues too: Indian users can only withdraw the PP money they get into their bank accounts (no using the PP funds to buy or whatever), CANNOT keep any money in their PP account for more than a week, and on top of that they can withdraw only when they have a minimum of $10 in their PP account. :P
