I personally tested the new setup with around 5 different users, new and old.

We think this time everything should work. If not, you may just connect to the old servers - but let me know if you faced problems!

The old ftp servers will go offline by tomorrow, if I do not see any postings here or get no email stating otherwise...

just to make some things clear and avoid you linking for nothing around:

we TWO major options of linking to tradebit:

[*] to the product detail (deeplink)

and a lot more with Javascript tools, etc.

The different ways are fairly good described on the affiliate start page:

How do I sell on my own account and how much is it?

First of all: we have 2 different models of using us and therefor we have 2 different pricing models, too.

Option 1 - using our catalog

You publish on tradebit.com and your file is sold from our catalog - for that the fee starts at 25% and goes down the more you sell. Some people contact me and say this is expensive. I disagree, because:

[*] we instantly throw in 9.5% from our side for your affiliates, so our fee is 15.5% and you have an affiliate network going instantly
[*] if you go up in sales, the rates go down to 20% and we still throw in 9.5% for your affiliate network
[*] we have solid traffic on tradebit and building that up is expensive

Option 2 - your buttons on your sites

In our thinking, building up traffic and a solid site is a lot of work. So if you sell from your own domain and you build up traffic to that site: You invest a lot of time and money. For these sales we offer you to replace the receiver email in the button codes with your OWN paypal email and we still do the handling of the secure hosting and delivery.

For that we ask for 7.5% at the end of the month. These rates ALSO go down the more you sell.

i have had a very bad issue with competing sellers rating my files with 0 stars, which takes then four or five 5 star ratings to pull up to a rating that looks decent.

also, non buyers (competing sellers) have been giving reviews when they never purchased. they can say anything to try and ruin my business, which is not fair and not good because they can give reviews over and over saying negative things that aren't true.

today i got a tradebit sales notice. when i clicked on the buyer's download link, as i sometimes do to see which file the buyer purchased from me and got to the tradebit download page, i saw not only my file, but three other sellers files.

apparently the buyer bought my file and three other seller's files all in the same day.

just to test the system, i checked all of the files on the page, and pressed "download" and sure enough i was able to download not only MY files, but ALL of the files from OTHER sellers. For Free.

similarly, i know all of the other sellers had easy and FREE access to my files through that sales notice.

this is a problem for me, because for my files to sell they need to remain unique and competitive.

my file will not remain unique if other sellers can simply download my file thru a sales email like this where there are several sellers files on the same page, and resell it for over 50% less, which in fact is already happening.

some sellers are selling my file on other sites like ioffer, then using tradebit to send shortlinks to these files they sell on these other websites.

the issue is, not only do they draw search engine traffic AWAY from tradebit, they are also selling a file that took me years to put together and costs $39.99 on tradebit, for like $12-$15, so naturally they are selling many more files than me and it has hurt my business.

and when all sellers are allowed such easy and free access to each other's files when one buyer decides to buy all of these files on the same day...or within three days of each other...then all the sellers can easily obtain the other sellers files.

i am concerned about this and wish that there was some way to prevent other sellers who did not pay for my file being able to just download it for free.

this is something i feel tradebit needs to work on.

I am a bit sorry that I have to waste my time as well as yours, on account of a new seller (barely a couple of days old) STEALING my products Title, Description, Image, Keywords...of a number of my products. And not just mine but of other reputable Tradebit traders like timmmiller, logonsoft, indigital, bobazaardotcom, wonkazebc, clowwwjd2009, Lucky7, jktorres81, and the list goes on and on……

All of his products have leeched description,title,Image, Keywords ditto, word to word...from other traders. Almost all of us would have spend a lot of time in having our sales page look a particular way so that it sells. I feel hard done when ppl steal desc,... word to word

I do not want to disclose the seller's identity in this public forum without your consent. So I have send a detailed Email (with the subjectline same as this thread ) containing some of the URL's of MY page and the leeched pages ...

I would like to find out why some of my files has been declined to be hosted and sold here. The best example - File 5694680 "999 Great Business Ideas" (known also as "The Wizards Brainwaves 999 Business Ideas" ) I've uploaded this file about 3 months ago and recently I wanted to change the main photo, which I did but after I've saved it the message said "this file need to be activated manually by the team" or something similar. Today I've received an e-mail saying "File 5694680 declined". As I've checked on your website another merchants are still selling it (e.g. [www.tradebit.com], [www.tradebit.com], [www.tradebit.com]-, [www.tradebit.com] etc.)

As I represent a licensed distributor, all relevant paperwork can be provided on your request.

I'd like to mention that file 8383071 has been declined today as well (plus files 7696405 and 7726719 are still waiting to be approved, about two weeks now)

I would like to resolve this issue as I find your service very professional and effective.
