I discovered Tradebit some weeks ago and first I was very exited. But now I notice a lot of problems with my account. After the login I can't navigate in my account. Evertime I try to open another point in the menu like for example &quot;My statistics&quot; the program asks again for my login, allthough it is shown, that I'm loged in yet.<br />
Pasting the login once again for entering in &quot;My statistics&quot; there comes the message:<br />
<br />
&quot;No file access for free accounts. Exiting... &quot;<br />
<br />
Well, this means I can't control my sales!<br />
<br />
If I navigate to the menu &quot;Upload&quot; I'am also asked again for my login. Pasting it once again, there comes the message:<br />
<br />
Create A New Product <br />
not logged in ... please go to Sign up or log in first... <br />
<br />
And this allthough it's shown above, that I am loged in!<br />
<br />
Now I'am really mistrustful if my documents are really well kept at Tradebit. Anyone here who have similar problems with his account?]]></description>

When I save a product, it DOES go public (no, it is not flagged either by copyright or dup checker). I have an issue of uploading large file to tradebit. I used FileZilla. The files under 50 MB were transferred successfully. Larger files also were transferred but when it done 100%, a large file immediately disappeared. I wonder if tradebit is not accepting the larger file. <br />

I tried using other FTP software and even tradebit's FTP transfer. Still the same issue. Please advice]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[ When you edit the price of a group of files (whilst using the &quot;filter&quot; to select them) the bottom file in the list does not get edited.<br />
I then have to open the ad to edit the price of that file.<br />

I noticed that a new affiliate page link (&quot;Resell product: click here&quot; ) has been added to the File Data section of the product listing page (GREAT idea, btw :) ).<br />

Unfortunately, the information on the affiliate page is incorrect.<br />
<br />
It says:<br />

<br />
how-to has configured the following options:<br />

    * You refer customers to the products of this user and you will be<br />
      paid 10 percent for each sale<br />

            <description><![CDATA[ I'm selling a DVD ISO image file that is a <i>Collection</i> of multi-part zip file that looks something like this:<br />
DVD_Image.zip.001<br />
DVD_Image.zip.002<br />
DVD_Image.zip.003<br />
DVD_Image.zip.004<br />
<br />
When the customer purchases the DVD image file and downloads it, Tradebit renames the files to something like this:<br />
DVD_Image.zip.001<br />
DVD_Image.zip2.002<br />
DVD_Image.zip3.003<br />
DVD_Image.zip4.004<br />
<br />
They then can't reassemble the file using 7-zip without having to remove the added numbers.<br />
<br />
Is there anyway of stopping this from happening?<br />

            <description><![CDATA[ Folks - there have been some merchants complaining that a partial refund is killing a whole Basket transaction, even if just 10% was requested for refund! Good news: we have finally solved this issue. Our support team is now able to issue partial refunds on single basket items without killing the whole basket. That is a manual intervention, but the support team has now the buttons and functions at hand!<br />

Because of my FREE Bonus program I have all of my products hosted on my own server so I am able to get them a download link fairly quick.<br />

The surge has happened since your last update so I am wandering what to do here. <br />

I had a customer today tell me that it is asking for a username and password.<br />

I installed and activated the WP Tradebit plugin, both via FTP and automatically inside my WP admin panel, did it in different blogs from 3.04 to 3.1.2 WP versions and even the successful activation I can't make it work due an error during the registration process.<br />
<br />
Inside the Tradebit WP plugin configuration panel I signed in with my Tradebit seller account first and got and error message (atached), after then uninstalled and reinstalled the plug and I tried again, now entering new user values and neither worked... I got the same error message.<br />
<br />
 Same result in 3.04 and 3.1.2 (latest) WP versions. <br />
<br />
Hope someone can advice.<br />

one of these servers had a bug since Sunday night - that slipped our attention. It could have been that you had problems connecting to tradebit via the FTP upload method. If so: that is fixed now and the servers are all up and running now!<br />

            <description><![CDATA[ I have been trying to pinpoint a problem with refunds that appear out of no where by customers that have not contacted me over being dissatisfied with their purchase.  Now usually when a customer isn't happy they contact me and I either help them resolve the issue or I give them a refund and I'm okay with this practice.<br />

The thing I'm not okay with is when a buyer makes purchases of multiple files from several different sellers, and then has problem with a single file from a seller other than myself and they either contact tradebit for a refund, do a reversal on paypal, or possibly contact the seller that sold them the bad file and start a refund.  <br />

What ends up happening is that not only are they refunded for the file that they originally had a problem with but they are also refunded for files purchased from other sellers that had nothing to do with the issue that initiated the refund.  I am assuming this happens because everything that was purchased in the shopping cart is refunded and file purchases are refunded on a per file basis.<br />
<br />
I have suspected this for a couple months and have contacted every buyer that mysteriously was refunded (without asking for it from me) to find out the circumstances of their refund as far as which file was problematic, if there were other sellers on their purchase, and who they requested the refund from.<br />
<br />
I don't know if this is a bug or just an unfortunate shopping cart flaw.  Unfortunately sellers are now giving away files for free because another seller in the shopping cart causes a refund for the entire shopping cart order.<br />
<br />
I hope I have explained the situation thoroughly and I wouldn't bring it up if I didn't investigate this myself first.  How can we fix this?<br />

Update: Just heard back from a customer that was one of these mystery refunds.  His order was $17.00, he was refunded $1.50 for some bad files from another seller, but everything he purchased from me in that order was refunded from my account (which was $2.49).  So the refund was individually by file on the buyers end but I loss money for being part of the shopping cart and don't profit on the files that I sold because my sales where refunded (but not to the buyer).<br />

The buyer isn't getting refunded for the files he purchased from me but the refund is still going against my account.  How can this be?<br />

I'm not trying to make any accusations (or get myself banned). I've been selling on tradebit for over 3 years and I just want to help make this a better marketplace for both buyers and sellers.<br />

I find your site very good and useful though I would like to suggest some possible improvements:<br />
I have seen that when searching in a category, let's say &quot;music&quot;, you get the top 10 results for each subcategory (Karaoke, Albums, Sheet music...). If you are interested only for one subcategory, let's say &quot;sheet music&quot;, you can not browse the following results of the top 10 list. I think (I have not found the way) that it is not possible to search within a subcategory (like &quot;sheet music&quot; or &quot;karaoke&quot;). So if you are looking for some sheet music, and your item is in the 11th position of the search results, you won't be able to see it in any way (unless the item has the &quot;sheet music&quot; tag). A &quot;more results&quot; link under each subcategory top 10 results would be an exellent idea! You also could add the possibility to add subcategory to the search box.<br />

the same intention of imporving search results, I also would suggest to authomatically add category and subcategory tags to items (it is strange that if somebody uses &quot;sheet music&quot; in his search words, he won't get any result in &quot;sheet music&quot; subcategory unless &quot;sheet music&quot; appears either in the title or in the tags keywords).<br />

            <description><![CDATA[ Yesterday night, around midnight EST the routers of our provider failed for around 45 minutes. In that time, tradebit was unavailable and not delivering pages. Our monitoring systems have notified us and we have kicked in fall back systems after 45 minutes. No sales were possible in that time. <br />

Everything was back up at around 1am EST, and we apologize for any problems you were facing with our system.<br />
