Can I market my files on the forum?

I would like to maybe write articles and attract potential customers through the forum, is this possible or against the forum rules?

Thanks,

Thanks Ralf,

I had no idea I was hurting my chances of getting visitors by duplicating content. I'm going to have to be creative here. I wanted to promote here because I get no traffic but I see the forum is better used for information sharing and not marketing. Its gonna take some work but I got some ideas I can try tonight.

hi,

that text is copy+paste and will not create any traffic. you use that on tradebit over and over, which leads google to the step to NOT rank your pages, because it knows the text from one page and ignores the rest.

from the point of view of a marketeer, the copy is not helping you to sell. It could work for the first product, but the second will already be filtered and not attract traffic. That might be the reason you want to promote it here in the forum?

I do not see any sense in that for our users and would ask you not to do it, sorry.

If you have a product setup that you want to have an opinion on, because it has a good preview or could help others in selling - that would be a good link to discuss here.

I'm pretty new to the site and I am trying to create a need/interest in the files that I sell. I don't sell ebooks and don't plan to since I am not familiar with the market. This is my "test" sample post, thanks for taking the time on this.

It was the weekend and I was out with some friends enjoying a game of pool when the phone rang. It was Chris an old friend from Miami and his first words out of his mouth were "I'm here with Gerrard and we have a business idea." They pictured a business were our online website would buy and sell products on its own. While some one may look at the price they can buy and sell for. We were calculating what price they are currently selling at and how much the price varies to the dime! This resonated with my skills and personal desires. You can say we thought we were smarter than everyone else. We were buying products from China at very low prices and soon realized they were all counterfeit. Half way into it we realized this dream of finally being able to make our own money came crashing down and little by little each one of us abandoned the project.
I want to give you a piece of the business idea we once had and were so excited about. I want you to have the numbers and data needed to make informed buying and selling decisions. I want to keep the dream alive by helping you reach your own.

Today we take a look at Gaga's pricey earphones. You can expect to get around $40 for the item and 80% of the recent completed listings have sold. I'm sure most of these products are fakes but it will be up to you to determine this. For those interested in making money off GAGA then here is what you need.

well, if you explain what you have and show links to your products, I guess it is OK... what we do not like to see here is plain and blunt advertising for poorly entered PLR or MRR products that are just not of interest for a lot of people... my suggestion is: do an example posting here as an answer and I will comment on it...
