can't hear anything but static?

I have mp3 files in a .zip file and for some reason they can't be heard, only static is heard.

Is there a way to test these files once you upload to tradebit because they work fine locally - on my computer but I can't seem to test them once I upload to tradebit. I don't know if they are not uploading correctly, not zipping correctly or at what point I'm making a mistake or they cease to work.

did you CONVERT these files? or did you just zip them and download them afterwards? could you give me more details about the process you have done?

I converted them on my computer and then uploaded them, zipped them and then downloaded. Do I need to convert once they are on tradebit?

I would upload the working MP3 and use our LAME conversion in the member area to create lo-fi previews there... download these after conversion for a test!

do you have any in your account right now, i could check out?

Where is the lame conversion in the members area? I did preview them and there is no sound in the files.

They play fine on my computer but not once they are uploaded to Tradebit. How do I run the LAME conversion in the members area?

I did the low quality conversions at both 32 and 64 and you can't understand it at all. I'm assuming this is not the right conversion.

i will take a look at your files, when back in the office... something must be going wrong!

i just tested "64kbps affirmationtrack1.mp3" and i can hear, that someone is speaking, but the volume is much too low for a good file! if you name the files, you have problems with, i can check these out, too!
