So here is what Puzzler has said, the senior moderator on this site and I havce some questions about it.

He says.


The process is quite straight forward, if you already have products setup:

1.) get an PayDotCom account---- which I have already done!

2.) set your secret word in the sales area (new menu on the left)..is this in the paydotcom link in the sales area on tradebit?

3.) enter your first product on PayDotCom with the IPN URL we provide in the paypal config menu and the URL from tradebit plus an /pdc at the end (see config page on tradebit for more info)

The way this is worded implies there are 2 urls given....or does this mean to put a /pdc after the tradebit.com provided IPN URL? so is this referencing a single url?


4.) Set the thank you page to

"http://www.tradebit.com/paypal/mythankyou.php"



5.) From the button codes, take the ID of the product from PDC to your product on tradebit (new entry field on the bottom). I understand this

first, here how it looks:

without /pdc: [www.tradebit.com]

with /pdc: [www.tradebit.com]

That is your DETAIL link for the pdc platform.

The product needs your PDC id and the thank you page is this one:

[www.tradebit.com]

which is called from paydotcom with the parameters to deliver your file.

The IPN url is the SAME either for paypal or PDC... you need to copy that over, because PDC is calling the IPN url like paypal would!

Hey ralf,

I am using my own sales page but on it is the buy now button encoded from paydotcom.com . Will this work?

Also here is what I have done.

1. On tradebit. I have inputted the paydotcom.com file id for my file at the bottom
in the "Browse my files" area . I believe there is a text box which prompts me to do that.

1. Now on paydotcom.com

Here is what it asks me when I set up a product:


Product Name: Here is the name of my e-book I put

Description: Already done

Price: I have set the same price as the price I have on tradebit.com
Sales Page URL: Here I put the sales pitch page from my own website that has the paydotcom.com buy now buttons.
Thank You URL: The thank you page on tradebit.com that a customer is taken to after a successful payment.


This is the page they get only after they make a successful payment to you.

Accept PayPal: I say yes here and input my paypal e-mail address.

Now at the bottom are two other fields:

Advanced Users Only: (OPTIONAL) ? Developers Guide (PDF)
IPN URL: This is where I put the IPN URL provided by tradebit.com for paypal
IPN Secret Code: I have created a secret code. The same one I have on tradebit.com in the sales area.
