Why don't my thumbnails show up like they used to ?

Hey Guys, and especially Puzzler, question for you.

I have uploaded a movie file and in the edit file section where you can associate a thumbnail image to it. I typed in the absolute url to the image on the web and then clicked on submit query to apply the changes and nothing happens. I just see a default icon with the name of my file but not my jpg image.

It never used to be like this. I then went to the section where I saved my jpg which is user front end and then went to select my file, but then a password authentication box pops up asking me to log in as an administrator and I don't know what that is. This is too complicated....what is the dilemma Ralf or anyone else.

I just want for when I hit preview for my file I can see my actual jpg image and not a standard box. Thanks

Maax

hi maax!

i think robert has updated that and disallowed absolute URLs starting with http... but that should be allowed and I look, what happened!
