private files

I am not sure if I make my ebook files public or private? I do not want these files seen by anyone unless they are paid and downloaded. if I make them private will people still be able to buy my e book?

The idea is: a product on sale is ALWAYS protected, no matter if it is public, private or restricted. That "flag" just determs, if it is listed in our catalog or not (public/private) or if you can link to it directly at all...

restricted files are not "linkable" from the outside, they NEVER appear.

But that has nothing to do with the file itself, it just relates to the listing in the catalog for the descripton page... hope I put it clearly?
