Help!!! I went into my account to try to edit pictures/thumbnails, etc., now I'm getting a message that my file is not found, and now it is nowhere on the main site!!!! Is it lost? Do I have to upload the file AGAIN? I hope I didn't lose the sale or review I just made!

Help.

Now I'm getting emails saying that customer purchased a nonexisting file.

Please help me ASAP...I've sent several emails and I'm getting rather perturbed.

Ok, I deleted whatever was left of the original file and uploaded it all over again. I refunded my customer (easy because it was my sister) and will ask her to write another review.

However, I do NOT want this to happen again. Before I start really advertising for this download, I need to make sure it doesn't happen again...I don't understand what went wrong. All I did was try to add a picture. Right now I have a generic picture but would like to go in a replace it with something more interesting. How can I do that without losing the entire file? I want to start selling and getting the word out that this song is available, but I don't want to be worried about glitches erasing my files.

Your prompt attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated.

toot, i need more info on that to really dive into the details. We did not delete anything on your account and if a file went missing, it could be that we filtered it out (for example if it ends on.php)... but files on tradebit do not magically disappear - there must be a reason for that!

I assure you, the file did disappear, and I sent several emails about it. I'm not sure what more information you need, you failed to specify. It was file no. 6712064, but I deleted it. I received this email yesterday

Hello
\n
\nA customer paid for not existing file:
\n/wwwroot/tradebit/tradebit.com/usr/tootintime/prv/3001/Tootintime.mp3

from tradebit support. So I refunded my sister her money (she was my guinea pig to find out if it actually worked).

I've received a couple more emails from someone named Sascha Ring, I am guessing it was about the refund, it references

Re: [Ticket#2009040510003571] not_found_6712064::Tootin

in the subject heading.

Like I said, I have since uploaded the same file again and deleted the one that was missing, so now it has a new file number.

I am finding my experience here at Tradebit so far to be extremely confusing. It seems like it shouldn't be all that complicated. Yes, I have watched the tutorials. I understand that perhaps this is a small operation but perhaps I'm misunderstanding the purpose of this site? I'm not trying to be difficult...all I want to do is sell a gag song my husband wrote for some extra money. Maybe I'm in the wrong place? I could not find any other sites that sold original downloads without having to go through all kinds of red tape. I think Tradebit sounded like what I wanted but I'm frustrated because I really can't figure out how things work here. I'm not tech savvy but I'm not a novice either and it shouldn't be that hard. Maybe it's just me...

And puzzler, I emailed you my questions (as you requested in another thread) and have not heard a response yet.

Waiting for a response...your help would be appreciated.
