Using MoneyBookers for payout
November 29, 2010 08:48AM
Folks, this week we are officially starting to offer MoneyBookers as the payout method.

Since we are in BETA mode and the next payout will still be Paypal, we only accept a handful of merchants, we MANUALLY switch over to Moneybookers. If you want to join the test, please email me directly with your account name:

puzzler(at)tradebit.com

and I will unlock the Moneybooker option for your account in the backoffice. The switch will take place for Wednesday the 8th of December. The upcoming payout stays as it was before. When the payout works on the 8th as intended, we will unlock Moneybookers for all verified merchants thereafter!

Hope you like that,
Ralf

Only little feedback on this - did everyone who asked for an alternative method see this?

Ralf,

I am not sure how many merchants have asked for moneybookers to be implemented as a new payout method. I for one was asking for Payoneer or atleast alertpay if payoneer was not possible. But since you decided to settle for moneybookers I didnt push for other payout methods.

I was going thru various forums abt moneybookers it doesnt look that convincing. But still will create a moneybookers acc and keep it as a backup to paypal.

I think it takes 2-3 weeks for moneybookers to verify address. As well as a note of caution to tradebit merchants who would look to open a moneybookers account : be carefull abt the currency you choose for ur moneybookers acc otherwise you would be hit twice or even thrice on foreign exchange fees.

For what it's worth I had to cancel my Payoneer account due to serious issues with transferring money. Having a pre-paid mastercard is great but what if you just want to put the money in your own bank? I had loads of trouble with the card trying to transfer to a non US bank. Gave up. A seperate (tradebit is the only transaction to and from it) paypal account has and continues to work exceptionally well.

hi, regarding the payout? Nope - I think 2 must work now. If we take more on board, the whole thing gets messed up, because we already have to book a lot of money around to pay you folks on time.

For further up2date infos, take a look at the blog: [www.tradebit.com]

Hi,
does this mean the moneybookers won't add as payout option or not?
another good option is to add direct deposit option, that will bring many new merchants
because paypal is disallow most of countries to receive money.

One thing to add: moneybookers is for NON-US merchants and affiliates only.
