Technical backgrounds of tradebit

A few friends recently asked me, what technology we used to build tradebit and I want to give a short overview about the resources we piled up for you:

Tradebit runs on:
1 XEON database server with 4 processors
1 XEON webserver with 2 processors,
both with 4 gig of RAM

Storage space is build by a double redundant RAID5 subsystem with 2.1 Terabyte
of storage. We keep that growing with your needs.

For the nicest experience of speed and connection reliability, we host with ev1servers.net. We work with these guys for over 3 years now and have been happy all the time. They provide a 24/7 support to make sure, we are up and running for you.

The operating system is Linux.

The whole setup is planned scalable to be enhanced with more webservers, more storage space and more database servers, if the demand rises beyond the technical power of that setup.

At your service,
puzzler ;-)
