Hello,

I have several times uploaded a few tracks lately, but the tracks and the Pictures are blurred.

Re-uploading don’t fix this issue.

I upload it with opera and firefox browser.

Can you please have a look what is wrong here ?

Thanks. MODULARWHITE

are you using FTP with ftp.tradebit.com to upload the files or do you use the browser?

I've used the browser and the web-ftp tool.

The uploaded files were good when I uploaded it a few months ago.
Now they are corrupted.

The picture stays corrupted, I've uploaded the picture several times.

I don't know the state of the files for sale, but the examples are corrupted.

let me try the following: mail me the picture and I will try the standard way to replace it... maybe it is just the cache!

email to: puzzler(at)tradebit(dot)com

ok?

Problem solved:

The movements of the snippet you’ve done apearing in the page as a snippet names tango hypnotique.
It seems that the DB are upset, and it will not listen to any command.
Moving the new upload from filezilla from / to /usr/modularwhite/pub/9003 resulting in a preview with NO SOUND.

My solution:
File ID 98635534 removed from DB... File ID 98635418 removed from DB... and deleted from filesystem!
File ID 98635416 removed from DB... and deleted from filesystem!
File ID 98635417 removed from DB... and deleted from filesystem!

I’ve no time at this moment to investigate.

Maybe I will try to upload in the future….

did you read the messages file on the p- and w- servers and read the apache.log on the w servers ?
You can grep a string like "err" to filter out the errors.
It's possible to get a clue there, and mostly it does.
I have the idea that the transfer between the p and w servers are not binary transfers, or there is something wrong with caching refreshing. (which it does not)
When I delete the file, and replace it back later, then it re-appears back as broken, so I think the file will not actually be deleted.
Are some filesystems full ? (especially /var /var/tmp or /tmp)
Is there a quota exeeded ?
Is there a resolving problem ?
Is there a daemon not doing his work properly ?

Please mail me if you find something...

Hi Ralf,

I’ve made a new account named “michel-bekkering” and uploaded his last album, snippets and pictures.
And now….. everything works fine !!!

So my conclusion is now that there is something wrong with the account “modularwhite”.
Perhaps something went wrong during the major upgrade from the serverpark….recently….

Can you check if the accountproperties for “modularwhite” are correct ?

Thanks, Rene
