Do you folks know a good utility to recover data from an old tape? I have stored my old mails from 1999-2001 on a tape and used win95 standard backup. now the archive is not completly readable and corrupt. any data recovery tools you would recommend?
I think the best would be, if you ask a professional data recovery service... As far as I remember, win95 did store the backup in one large file... which complicates the thing a bit!
I have lost all data and after a few days, I figured: nothing really bad happened... I remember all my passwords and I have all people in reach I want to reach... so, hey I forget about that backup!
