Cannot Insert Web links

Hi i'm trying to insert web links eg click HERE to my profile layout when i insert a product link to my tradebit sub domain i'm getting [www.tradebit.com] "The file or user you are looking for does either not exist or you do not have access to this file" any help anyone?

hi, where do you insert the link? could be that your account does not support HTML (which is the default value to combat spam)... then the product MIGHT be set to "restricted", which also gives a 404...

Hi Puzzler . I'm trying to put for eg. in my welcome layout i put a product then a little info about it then at the bottom put a "BUY NOW" link. the linking aspect i'm getting the error. If i link the "BUY NOW" to a product i have and save it and then click on it i'm getting the problem.

That is strange - sounds like a mess up! Are you using the whole URL?

= added spaces in the first part to avoid url conversion...

It is supposed to work without limits!

HI Ralf, I tried what you mention above (with the spaces) and also the links below:

[www.tradebit.com]
[www.tradebit.com]

seems to be working if i put it into the browser but when i link it to my submain error 404 file cannot be found . you can check [everythinghere.tradebit.com]
150-adsense-ready-websites product in the table. If you Highlight the title there is the correct link there.


Also its showing up as [everythinghere.tradebit.com] even though i insert [www.tradebit.com] . I have the strangest feeling this is something simple.

hi, yes - that is wrong - the "everythingthere.tradebit.com" is supposed to be the www. link.... I will check it now with your login!

now it works! Guess the editor either removed the complete url www... and then the link is relative to the domain you are on (everythinghere) or you forgot to insert the www... part?

Ralf it work when i logged in a min ago but when i check it like an Hour afterwards it gone back to [everythinghere.tradebit.com]......... instead of [www.tradebit.com]........... and then error 404 file cannot be found.I dont know why the editor redirecting it....

hi, there is not "filedetail.php" on your subdomain. that page is on the maindomain to avoid duplicate content...
