hello!

i have a question regarding the licenses of software!

Is open source always free software? What is the difference?

hi newbie!

open source is always free, but free as in freedom, not as in free beer...

that means, that open source software comes with the source code included for you to have the freedom how to use it, not the freedom to abuse it for sales or to modify it and then sell it.
