Unfortunately, due to the installation of a new router for my brothers machine, the server is back offline (having never dealt with routers or wireless connections before I'm having to pick n pry my way through the problems). I'm working as fast as I can to get it back online as soon as I possibly can.

Oks, HTTP and FTP servers appear to be working again (sort of)

I'm still having problems accessing the HTTP and FTP servers using their external addresses from inside the network but apparently, it's working for those accessing them from outside of the network so whatever the problem is, it is restricted to internal machines only.

...... oh the joys .......

I officially detest networking! <g>

Just a note guys,
The PC running the server is having a few problems atm so the server is currently offline (I've been running diagnostics on it since yesterday evening). It should be back online within the next day or two, depending on whats actually wrong with it (only have an idea atm).

BTW: you may mail me a logo for the files that we refer to on your servers and I put that into the description of the files... 1st would it look nicer and 2nd people will know, where they go to and 3rd you will get the link value to your homepage for the search engines!

On a side note, as an update to my previous post, I've had to send the hard drive away to a friend for further diagnostics as it is looking to be a corrupted hard drive.

I've got a temporary spare 2GB hard drive in it at the moment for the main site files, but the files server itself is 4GB+ so I'm unfortunately going to have to wait for my friend to get back to me with a replacement drive.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon (he goes away for two weeks on Wednesday so I'm hoping he gets back to me one way or the other, before then).
