LIQUID was formed in early 2004 by guitarist Brian Horban and vocalist Mike Hartwig. Together they started writing songs to pitch to the recording industry. They signed their first songwriting contract with a small independent in May of 2005. Since then many things have changed. Adding a rhythm section to LIQUID consisting of Christian Nicholson (Bass) and Chris Sfarzo (Drums) has successfully turned LIQUID into a full band. LIQUID has played numerous gigs in and around the San Francisco bay area in order to grow their fan base and spread the music to the masses.
This past May, "Hold Me Down" was released as part of a compilation CD on No Left Turn Records, featuring some of the newest and loudest Rock/Alternative/Metal bands in the Bay Area. LIQUID also independently released "Twist of Fate" their first professional 5 track demo/EP in December 2005.
