Formed in mid-michigan in 2004, LIFTED is a Heavy Groove laden Rock/Metal family power trio. Consisting of 2 Brothers (Vocalist and Guitarist Dan & Drummer Dustin) and to make the group way more appealing to the eyes (Bassist and Backing Vocalist Brenda)
The name LIFTED comes from the hope that the energy shared through their live show will leave people wanting more and
feeling lifted to another level when they leave. "Its how we feel every time we hit the stage live" says Dan, the bands driving force lyrically and emotionally.
LIFTED''s first ep was released in 2004 and sold nearly 900 copies independently. After Opening for such acts as Thousand Foot Krutch (a sold out show @ Flints - Machine Shop) and Revelation Theory the band took off from the road to record their first full length debut album - THE VACANT STARE - due for release in April, 2006.
No one knows what the future holds for this band - but if the past is a sign of things to come, these guys will continue to rise and accomplish great things. Look for them throughout the midwest on summer and fall tours in support of - The Vacant Stare - and all over their homestate of Michigan.
