Lisa Nicoll is a singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, NY, who is currently living and working on her melodies and lyrics in Savannah, GA. When in NY, she choreographed and performed in, as a featured singer and dancer, The Beat Goes On, a series of 1960''s tribute shows at the legendary Bottom Line. Included on the bill were such luminaries as Phoebe Snow, Marshall Crenshaw, and Dennis Diken, of Smithereens fame.
Fans describe Lisa Nicoll''s songs as "infectious pop,with these lyrics that take you deeper than you expected." She has been compared to performers from Ellie Greenwich (Brill Building) to Petula Clark, from Dusty Springfield to Juliana Hatfield. She finds inspiration in the vocalists of the 60''s: from British Invasion to Brill Building, and in the poets of yesterday and today, from Rumi to Billy Collins.
Lisa has also been a featured guest artist on the Sci-Fi Channel''s Seeing Ear Theatre, providing the voices for many of their varied characters.
She is currently at work on a full-length album and on a website.
