Leslie Clark started playing guitar at the age of eight when her father brought three home from the second hand store for her and her sisters Robin and Katy. Struck with the early thought that singing other people''s songs was stealing, she started writing shortly after learning her first chords. Her craft has come a long way from that first song about a crack in the wall in which lived a well-dressed mouse. While still in high school she was recruited by an L.A. hit songwriter as his lyricist. David Craig''s famed ''Singing Onstage'' course polished her performing skills, and she was off on a journey around the world playing and writing music, and living and observing life. New York, Japan, India, Paris, Thailand, and England are some of the places she has journeyed in an effort to (as her dad used to say) figure it all out. In the early 90s she was a presence on the Orange Country coffeehouse scene with her partner Mike LeDoux, a former session player for Phil Spector. Later in the decade, she put her commercial music pursuits on hold to explore Eastern religion. This tour through spiritualism led to the release of her CD "Light" and the single "The Sky Was Full of Angels", written in the wake of 9-11. In 2004, Leslie decided it was time to get back into the mainstream and make the high-caliber CD she''d always wanted to make. Leslie''s journey has led her suspect that this is all a Divine dream. ''Dream'' is a rich musical glimpse at that dream in 14 acts, from the comforts of the cradle to the warm joys of coming home.
