Glenn and Jeanne Peterson are "Crossing Trees" - an Americana, folk, acoustic husband and wife duo. Their unique style of music and heartfelt lyrics are both passionate and pure.
Their brand new project "Losing Me" was released in the fall of 2005.
It was produced & engineered by Stephen Gause(Invertigo Music). Stephen has worked with Ginny Owens,Dereck Webb, and Jars of Clay to name a few.
"We are really excited about this new CD and look forward to what God has in store."
From Glenn; " I wanted to keep this project earthy using tradictional american folk instruments and fuse that with a more progressive new folk sound. My desire was to add texture to the lyrics and build a foundation for them, not compete with them. We definitely achieved that!"
Losing Me, is about denying yourself and following a higher calling. It''s getting lost in something bigger than life itself.
"This project was an outpouring of our hearts and a testimony of what God can do when we wait for Him... He is always faithful, He is always listening."
From Glenn and Jeanne:
Music has always been a part of our lives and after giving our hearts to Christ, singing became more than just singing.
We tend to complicate the worship experience. Our Heavenly Father said of David that he had a heart after Him. When you look at David, his life was full of mistakes and at times failures; but the one constant in his life was his passion to be honest with God.
We believe this is the key to worship and intimacy with the Father.
Our desire is to go beyond the obstacles of ability and focus on our availability, to make our thoughts, emotions and actions available to God. That is true worship...
