Mingling the styles of space sway stoner sway and emo into one disc, Favorite's talent shows on '35'. A melodious rock feel with infective rythms and melodies throughout, the songs on this disc play in your head long after the tracks have faded.

On your mark....get set....BIO!!
We started off around 2000 as And Nothing Less... (Steve, Jeremy, Govi), one member shy of our present line-up. We played some kick ass venues like Creepy Crawl (St. Louis, MO), Gabe's (Iowa), and not to mention Heritage Fest in Downer's Grove. Ok, that last one doesn't really count. We had a great sound and stage presence, but there was still something missing. Eventually we took a 'musical break' and focused more on drinking and living the rockstar life...without being actual rock stars.

Cut to 2003, when Steve and Andy started jamming with acoustics at 401 College, #6, Normal, IL, while Andy was hustling through a degree in information systems (yes, the geek that he is...) and Steve was giving a whole new meaning to ISU (I Screwed Up). After a few tries, some good stuff started to surface ("The Programming Song"...downloads coming soon!), and we decided to let Govi bang on his drums while we played guitar. Hence Sense of Static (Andy, Steve, Govi) was born. Practices usually encompassed 6-8 hours (was this a work day?), 3-5 shots (a very nice work day...), and listening to bands we could only dream of sounding like. We had 2 total shows, both in Champaign IL...at the Canopy Club, and at Nargile. Both were firsts for Andy (thats right...BOTH).

Cut to Graduation 2004. Congratulations to Govi (Hospital Administration....eww) and Andy (Information Systems...again...geek).

Cut (again?) to Winter 2004....Lombard here we (yes all of us now) come! After some long talks and filtering through positives and negatives, we decided to make it official, and call ourselves Sense of Less....wait....And Nothing Static? No, no....its Favorite...I think (Steve, Andy, Jeremy, Govi). Alas, time to record! We gathered in Champaign to make some noise at Mark Rubel, the producer, mixer, and over-all genius of the album soon to become our best. "35" came out sounding better than any of us hoped in a weekend, but with the caffine induced, Doogey Houser-esque IQ of Rubel, we could do no wrong. All rough mixes intact, it was time to make a big decision. House or no house....this one was easy enough. This brings us to today in Lombard, IL where we hope to plant our seed and spread through undergrounds and overgrounds. Dreams any band would have, and like a true band we are really just four individuals, four different styles, and the one sound that makes us the band Favorite.
