This arrangement begins with an ethereal accompaniment and mezzo-soprano solo and builds slowly to an exciting climax. The piano part, while not difficult, is not for a beginner (it switches between triplet and duple divisions throughout the work). However, if your choir is familiar with this hymn, you may only need a couple of rehearsals to put it together.
