CopaSetic is fronted by Debra G. (vox) a classically trained vocalist, who is substance with style personified! This sweet siren sings with zeal and fervor; lyrics unveiling her darkest secrets. Miss G’s voice can range from quiet desperation, to sheer angst within a breath and is the heart of CopaSetic.
The dirty circus funk mad scientist Sweet Baby James (guitar), fuses old school funky rhythms with rich, full chords and eclectic melodies not typically found in modern music. His funky compositions are the platform for which CopaSetic is based.
The foundation of CopaSetic is comprised of the Twin Towers of Rhythm, Joe Diaz (drums), and Jon Manning (bass). An extreme power to be reckoned with, they can read each other’s moves like a mesmerizing game of chess. Joe is the machine that can keep time better than the Swiss! His rhythmic capacity is unlimited; exhilarating the mind, body, and soul. Joe is the lifeline to which CopaSetic thrives. Jon, the psychedelic soul, has a remarkable and innate sense of rhythm laying down the thickest of playful and sassy grooves.
