"Sounds From Heaven!"
A native of Decatur, Georgia, Jonathan began playing saxophone at the age of twelve. He traveled in ministry for many years with his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Gus Kilgore, Jr. He now ministers under the covering of Reverend & Mrs. Jerry F. Hutchins, at the Timothy Baptist Church in Athens, Georgia.
He devotes much time to his gift and has become a "Sounds From Heaven" exclusive and a young saxophone extraordinaire! Jonathan''s remarkable dexterity and ability to minister the music from within puts him in a league of his own. God has opened doors for him to minister at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, the Montreaux Music Festival, Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards, Bronner Brother''s Gospel Showcase, Borders Music & Books Mardi Gras Jazz Showcase, Good Day Atlanta, the Victory in Praise Conference hosted by Pastor John P. Kee and the 2002 Georgia DARE Officer Association Conference. His ministry has extended nationally throughout Georgia, to Tennessee, North & South Carolina, Alabama, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio, Mississippi, and internationally to Kenya, West Africa.
God has blessed Jonathan beyond measure. He is founder and CEO of Sounds From Heaven Music Ministry, Inc.; a music ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel, through instrumental song, around the nation. His ultimate mission is to cross denominational lines to lead the body of Christ in worship and to usher them into the presence of God. Jonathan released his debut project, entitled "Be Glorified" on December 15, 2002. It was followed with the August 2003 release of "Be Glorified volume II" which is a remake of his first project which now features the first ever recorded instrumental single of the gospel hit song: "Praise is What I Do."
Jonathan''s talent is surpassed only by his close relationship with God and his zeal to do what God has commanded. His dedication extends beyond his call to full time ministry. He is also a devoted husband and a father of three beautiful children.
