Details:
This recording elevates the emotions within us and reconnects to the true inner values of living souls. Since excitement and challenge move the minds of modern man away from the solitude and security only love can best provide, do we find ourselves entangled when we lose this kind of love which elevates us into the heights of heaven. Love, alike faith, does move mountains, remaining the source of all life and allows us to reflect and improve our emotional state. This recording encompasses the everyday feelings of people and reminds us of some of the most wonderful tunes, touching on our modern time and also on the times which have passed us long ago. Love, longing and the feelings of separation right up to the moment of embrace, the return or even the loss of it, will never cease to corner our emotions, calm them or elevate them, depending on the sound of the music and the words delivered through it. In short, only the artists involved can best connect us to the inner feelings we have when we fall in love or think of bygone days when love was kind to us.

The truly sensational voice of June Simon has returned after it was silenced for too long a time by a vicious disease. A handful of compassionate physicians in the small town of Grand Forks, British Columbia, and a group of artist friends remained by her side until her voice began, one more time, to sound of love and life. Praised as being sensational in its tonal colors, she appeared on the Mike Buck show in Honolulu and from there on in has sung her way into the hearts of her fans. Trained from early childhood, she entered the Trinity College of Music, London. She performed for the United States Consulate in a private setting where she met Mdm. Savrides, a former Metropolitan Opera star of Greek heritage. June soon became her prime student and friend as she prepared to leave for England to begin her career with a famous opera company there. Unfortunately, she suddenly fell seriously ill and her career was ended. Recently, it was an Hawaiian guitarist who gave her the courage to test her voice humming alongside his guitar. Pierre Grill then began to record this lost voice for the first time after decades of silence. Pierre Grill quickly organized the best known musicians around her to match tone, words and acoustics with the warm yet rich sound of her soprano voice. Her Christmas recording has brought great happiness to people all across the United States and Canada as well, sensational in quality after being silenced for what seemed to be an eternity.

Pierre Grill, the sound engineer for this recording, received a Grammy award from the Sate of Hawaii for his proven skill in this field. Trained extensively in classical and modern music at the Marseille Conservatory of Music, he also received an engineering degree at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon. However, he decided to make music his life. Pierre is a multi-talented musician, his background offering accolades of praise: in short, a musician extraordinaire, bringing his French born sensitivity and temperament along. He owns and operates the well known Rendez-vous Recording Studio in Honolulu, Hawaii. Most of all, his piano styling, which can be heard on this album is so enchanting that Golden Bell House would like to feature his performance as a pianist on an all piano album.

Pierre Grill has always envisioned a beautiful sound which he called L''Escargots. In this CD, we have introduced his "L''Escargots" sound through the artists who participated in this project, the violinist Juan DeVilbiss-Munoz being one of these artists. A graduate of Stanford University with a doctorate in Geophysics, he studied voice, guitar and violin. His violin embraces the deep, longing gypsy quality of tone on this recording. He was a concert violinist for four years, studying under the reputable Vladimir Vulfman, a Russian professor from the Moscow Conservatory.
