Details:
Turquoise Rain, the newest release by Jerry Eaglefeather Monroe, is a beautiful collection of nine spirit-inspired native songs that brings glory to our eternal Creator, and encouragement to all people.
From the first song, Council Chiefs, which gives honor to our historic chiefs who continue to guide our lives today; to 2 Chronicles 7:14, which''s calls all of us to look to Creator and His way to experience healing and restoration; all the way to the final song, Power, Love, Mind, which reminds us that when one follows the path of the Creator, fear and discord can have no reign in that person''s heart, Turquoise Rain speaks God''s healing, reassurance, hope, and eternal love for His people.
My favorite song on the cd is Dancing Star, a beautiful song that is felt to the very depths of the heart and echo''s in the soul. This song is dedicated to little Dancing Star, who passed away at the tender age of two. It pays tribute to his short life that profoundly touched the lives of many. His presence here on Earth portrayed the pure love and acceptance that God so freely and constantly extends to us.
This is the cd that you must have in your collection. It will bless your life and give you a renewed perspective of how God has an eternal love and care for His people, as well as how Chief Eaglefeather has a life-long purpose to reach as many people as possible with that life-changing message. From a man after God''s own heart comes this musical gift that is dedicated to your heart.

Angel shared with me your latest CD "Turquoise Rain" and I must say, it
calmed my spirit.
I am a writer, a serious reader, "part-time" intellectual, and photographer and I lead a very busy life of which in the last few years I have made great success in calming down. I am familiar with the African griot tradition and
my musical tastes have come from traditional jazz, R&B, political rap, and frequently, contemporary gospel (which is a leap for me). Unlike many people, I am familiar with the history and culture of Native people and I
have always attempted to practice some of the principles they have always believed in such as reclamation of the earth; respect for all life; and developing community. I sincerely enjoyed your music and I am amazed at how
you fit it all together. I developed a fondness for track two as I keep hearing the rhythm in my head-but I guess that is the effect Native music should have on one''s soul to connect us with not only our spiritual selves,
but how we deal with real life. I applaud you and encourage you to keep on producing this type of music-you are the only one I know.
P.S. Angel also shared with me your other two CDs and I look forward to
listening to them!

Turquoise Rain is a unique marriage of traditional Native American melody and spirit with inviting and even groovable electronic rhythms and background instrumentations. The opening track "Council Chiefs" is an engaging narrative honoring great Indian chiefs of the past, as well as the Creator himself. I would recommend it to anyone who has a love for Native flute and vocal as well as other popular music styles, because it is an unlikely but pleasing blend of both. It is Chief Eaglefeather''s most creative work yet.
