10 MP3 Songs
FOLK: Folk Pop, POP: Folky Pop

Details:
Full Circle is Jeff Michael''s debut album. The album is filled with songs that tell stories and lessons learned from the harsh realties of Los Angeles and the world beyond. Mark Bialczak, a music critic for The Post Standard of Syracuse, New York writes " Full Circle delivers pop music fresh and tasty." In describing Track 9 he says " The clincher is "911 Song," as Michael tries to make sense of the world post-2001. He paints a poignant picture of a mother in a faraway land watching her children play inside. "We only want to do what''s right, so we send our troops to fight," he sings. .
Jeff''s music is heavily influenced by folk artists such as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and James Taylor. Track 4, Journey To The Sun, borrows from the sounds of Paul Simon. Other tracks such as Don''t Worry Annie are reminiscent of classic rock bands such as the The Beatles. The influence of John Mayer can also be heard in tracks 5 and 6. There is a wide of styles but somehow he manages to make it all work.
Jeff is originally from Syracuse, N.Y. He attended the State University of New York at Fredonia and earned a degree in music composition. In 2003 he came to L.A to pursue a career as a film composer. After graduating from the USC Film Scoring Program and working in the film composing world for a year Jeff really missed writing and performing his original songs. In the summer of 2005 he returned to his roots and began writing songs again. Musically Michael began his career as a pop musician, then studied classical, and has returned to his roots, thus the title" Full Circle".
