POP: Today''s Top 40, URBAN/R&B: R&B Rap mix
The R&B/Pop scene currently has its eyes set on four young, fresh, and talented guys. This Long Island based group is making major waves throughout the industry and is attracting thousands of loyal fans across the country. What makes these guys more unique than any other group is the fact that they aren''t a record label or management manufactured pop package. These guys grew up together and have urbanized a pure bond along with a sole sound unheard on the market. As a group, their acapella blend is incredible. Each member can hold their own vocally, as well. Nowadays such talent is rare. Furthermore, these self-contained young men produce all of their own music and write all of their own lyrics. They even have the ability to engineer their own songs. Their talents as amateurs rank with that of veterans in the music industry. They have created their own genre of edgy pop, hot lyrics and hip-hop flavor, mixed together with up-tempo beats and dreamy ballads, which they are calling "Hip-Pop." The world is soon to see that this is beyond a doubt, the next generation of music. Who are these guys you ask? They are I.N.T.!
Born and raised in Glen Cove, NY, 19-year old Stephen Abbondandolo (a.k.a. ABBS) has been singing and rhyming since he was little. He never realized the unbelievable talent he had would soon turn into a career. As he grew up in a talented neighborhood that is home to artists such as Ashanti, he slowly developed his skills. He learned to apply his clever rap lyric mentality to the group''s Pop/R&B driven songs and he now finds himself as key writer for the group. ABBS is not at all worried about being taken seriously as a rapper in a Pop/R&B group. "It''s what gives the group diverse flavor," he says.
ABBS is the comedian of the group along with Frank Bossio (a.k.a. BoZ) right behind him. BoZ, 19, from Woodbury, NY, has been singing all of his life. He got serious at the age of 12 when he decided to chase his dream and become a recording artist. After seeing him perform on stage and listening to his spine-chilling range of vocal capability, it''s not hard to say he''s captured his goal. He sings with astonishing control over his voice; something that many other singers strive for their entire lives. His inspirations include Boyz II Men, Michael Jackson, and Brian McKnight. He hopes one day that fans will be inspired by I.N.T.
BoZ became friends with Donnie Klang (a.k.a. D-Braz), 19, during their freshman year of high school. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, D-Braz moved out to Long Island just before high school. D-Braz, the quietest of the group, is also every fans heartthrob. His soft yet breathtaking voice captures a listener''s attention instantaneously. He and BoZ compliment each other''s tone very well, something many groups lack. His musical influences include Boyz II Men, Dru Hill, 112, and Usher. With a firm knowledge of music theory and composition, D-Braz sets himself apart from other producers in the industry. He creates ballads that seem to have the same energy as the catchy up-tempo songs he produces. Throwing away any doubts about the group''s talent and future he says, "It is a pleasure to be in a group with so much talent." Together we make music that can hit all different ages. We''ve been together for a long time and we''ve straightened out any differences we''ve come across. He explains, "Being in I.N.T has played a large part of becoming who I am today."
Kevin Pabon (a.k.a. KP), age 17, lives in Levittown, New York. He''s been dancing and singing from a very young age. He brings diversity to the look of the group and a mature voice to the blend. He''s helped the other members vocally by showing them when it comes to singing, your soul is just as important as your heart. He taught himself to play the piano and continuously creates new music. He also produces music. His limber movement sets him apart from other dancers. His inspirations range from Boyz II Men and Jodeci to Michael Jackson and The Fugees.
These four rising stars have stolen the hearts of every teenage girl who has seen or heard them. Don''t take our word - listen and decide for yourself. Welcome to the new sound of Hip Pop.....the sound of I.N.T.!
