James'' biography:
James kick started an exciting second year, by selling out his first headline gig at Windsor Leisure Centre in February 2010. Since August last year James has had the pleasure of supporting Mr Hudson, Amy Studt, Lethal Bizzle, Twenty Twenty, Diana Vickers, Jamie Archer, Amy Can Flyy and Lloyd Daniels. James'' name is becoming increasingly known as he contiunes to play at major gig venues in the South. James'' music has been aired on radio stations including and acoustic interview on the South''s biggest radio station ''Wave 105''. After uploading his own songs onto myspace approximately 18 months ago he has racked up over 300,000 plays, and 18,000 fans.
The Young singer song- writer is Influenced by the legendary Damien Rice, and his acoustic roots are felt deep within the loins of his music. After grasping a guitar at the age of 13, and playing until his fingers bled, James uncontrollably fell in love with ‘folkish’ melodies and blues like licks, spending hours dreaming of one day being able to share his passion, stories and songs with others around him. James found tranquillity whilst writing lyrics and poems as it was a chance for him to express his deepest emotions across in an understandable manner with people. With the open road lying ahead, James hopes to continue to share his story across the world; knowing people will be able to relate to his music along their journeys.
