Details:
Craftmatic was born as a spinoff from Olympia, Washington supergroup Megacolon, and eventually supplanted their ancestry as the premier Bass/Guitar/Yamaha-RY30 act in the greater South Puget Sound area.
Known primarily for being unknown, Craftmatic played a small handful of shows in Olympia before disbanding shortly after the release of their self-titled opus in 1998, citing an inability to stop fiddling with knobs long enough to write songs.
This fully remastered tenth anniversary re-release features the additional track "Money Shot", recorded for and released on a compilation for the Evergreen State College.
Guest participants included Zied Rieke (vocals by telephone from Tulsa on "Digger"), Seamus Campbell (engineering and mixing on most tracks, vocals on "Yo Nagasaki Taco Bell"), Gabe Rutledge (drums on "Money Shot", cowboy hat on "Old Paint"), and Matt Bauer (engineering and mixing on "Money Shot"). The cover art was drawn by Sunday Williams.
Craftmatic was:
Shane Cyr (bass, guitar, vocals)
Pasha Naini (guitar, bass, vocals)
Yamaha RY-30 (drums)
