Details:
King Athelstan forced the Cornish out of Devon in 936AD and set the River Tamar as the boundary of Kernow. In so doing, he carried out mass ethnic cleansing. Despite the bloody campaign against the British, this Saxon king now has a statue in Bodmin and many other roads named after him.

This song charts this and recognises the influence of seminal Cornish poet Bert Biscoe.
