Details:
The Slater Sisters started as an acoustic duo. Cousins Lauren Lanning and Jillian Sandler moved to Los Angeles and quickly became part of the singer/songwriter crowd. They often set up their own shows, called "Girls Gone Acoustic", featuring many of the up and coming female artists in the L.A. scene. For three years, they played all over Southern California and several shows in New York City, put out their own EP, and sold their own self-designed merchandise. In 2009 the girls met guitarist Frank Leon and drummer Dreux Zimmer who had played together for many years. When the foursome decided to put together their first collaborate EP, they met engineer/bassist Matt Sadgrove. Matt brought to the table his long resume of musical expertise. He and The Rebel Movement partner Lucy Graves (backup vocals and keys) co-produced "No More I''m Sorry", a 6 song EP, rich with tight harmonies, catchy melodies, and a musical blend of rock and pop, rooted in folk.
