In 2009 the guys from Cosmic Spring had this brilliant idea to invite the first Dutch astronaut Wubbo Ockels into the studio and record some of his statements concerning sustainability. They used his quotes in their trance song ‘Terug naar die basis’. This inspired Renger to ask Wubbo Ockels for some English quotes and I used them in ‘What the bleep do we know’. The first single of Renger''s forth coming album.
The most intriguing quotes are ’The earth is our spaceship and we don’t have any spare parts’ and ‘We are all astronauts of Spaceship Earth’. Only astronauts with an extraterrestrial experience can have this view!
A fair share of the revenues go to the Dutch charity foundation ’Nederland 2050’ initiated by Wubbo Ockels.
