This album captures the spirit of a trio of young Okies doing what they love to do: play music. The 9 tunes display songcraft not normally found in today''s young people. The songs are mostly narratives of songwriter Parker Millsap''s stream of consciousness. Topics ranging from self-realization to death to New York City to girls in white dresses are apparent on this album. The listener will most likely appreciate the variety of pallets from which the young musicians draw. The gospel-fused "No Good" and the ominous "Sara" provide stark contrast to each other but the album maintains a consistent sound which lies somewhere between roots, folk, indie and alt-country music.
