My first love is art, primarily painting. When I was 15 I discovered Andy Warhol. I was inspired that Andy Warhol created art, films, produced music and encouraged the growth of other artists. I spent two weeks in NYC in May. I exposed myself to as much art as I could possibly look at, enjoyed Broadway shows( WICKED!) and the Argentinian performance group Fuerza Bruta, who I include in my lyrics. If you ever get a chance to see one of their shows DO IT!! I danced my ass off at Amanda LePore''s BIG TOP, rubbing shoulders with underground recording artists and porn stars, saw the best show ever at MOMA of a Yugoslavian performance artist whose name escapes me, and I enjoyed views of the city from multi-million dollar homes. I spent lots of time in the many parks and watched Tibetan monks create a mandala in sand at St. John the Divine. Basically I partied my ass off, fed my mind with inspired works of art, and got my spirit on! GO TO NYC!!
