I started working on the new song-"California'' in November of 2009 and finished it in January of 2010.
No it does not sound like Katy Perrys "California Gurls" as I said I finished it 5 Months before Katty Perry''s
"California Gurls" My song is a Raeggae flavored song about-"California"
I did not have a lot of material to go along with the ''California " song so I went
with an idea I had come up with a while back.
I redid some of My Pop and Rock song in a Raeggae style.
I also did a "Clown Song" cover of Katy Perrys "I kissed a Girl"
My version is called "I kissed a Borg" a must for fellow Trekies.
Blane even adds a lead to this version.
I think you''ll get a kick out of it.
I have also added 8 of My favorites from My first 2 CD''s
Blane Sloan the studio owner does all the recording, enginnering and mixing of this CD.
Blane also does all the Rhythm and lead Guitars on all the tracks.
He also does all the background vocals.
Roger Baker also lends His Production and Engineering skills.
He also does all the lead Keyboards and synthesizers.
Roger also did the photography and cover for the CD.
John Sickels does the lead vocals on "He''s Homeless" and "Good Girls"
Lee Tayler adds His saxophone solos on - "Rock The J-LO" , "Good Girls"
and" 60''S Kind Of Girl" .
Dennis Painter does all the Drums and Pecussion .
Dennis is from Oakland does backgrounds vocals on "California"
I wrote all the songs except for 3.
I sing lead except for those 2 sung by John.
I do -Bass Synthesizer on all the songs and keyboards on some.
