All proceeds from the sales of this CD benefit the Families In Crisis ministry at Oakcrest Family Church. Every Monday night the ministry serves dinner, distributes clothes, and teaches about the Lord, Jesus Christ. At the end of each evening a box of groceries is given to each family in need. We serve approximately 100 families each Monday night.
This compilation of songs in many ways demonstrates the diversity of the people working in and benefitting from the Families In Crisis ministry. All of these songs were written by these very people. Each of the writers and musicians has donated these works to this endeavor. The songs are diverse in style, subject, voice, sound, and genre; and yet they are all expressions of what the Lord has put into the heart of His Church and this ministry. It is our prayer that the listener would be drawn closer to God and to recognize those attributes of Himself that He has revealed in these people’s hearts.
