The groundbreaking debut album from New York City indie rockers AudioAmor.
AudioAmor was founded in New York City in early 2009 with no deadlines and no expectations, only a sense of musical wonder and experimentation. Having never played together before, but with mutual friends and family ties, a kinship quickly developed between them. Weeks of open ended jam sessions passed, and as satellite players came and went, the core remained. Songs began to take form, so many in fact, that the group had unknowingly amassed a great catalog, and an intuitive sense of musical communication.
In January of 2010, they set out to document this chemistry in a Williamsburg studio, and by the time it was complete in March 2010, those distilled improvisational sessions had been transformed into carefully crafted songs on their self-titled debut album "AudioAmor."
They weave together an upbeat, lyrical, funky, vintage style rock and roll, that is reminiscent of classic artists yet they transcend their influences and are at once, thoroughly original.
