Meeting for the first time at a songwriting workshop at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ander Lucia and Sasha Greendyk sat down and wrote a song together, only knowing one another for a short 24 hours. Because they live on separate ends of the country, recording the song at the conclusion of the workshop was easier said than done. But they did it. Just a few short weeks later, Greendyk tracked the piano and her vocal parts in Pennsylvania. She then electronically sent them to Lucia, where he layered his own vocal and ukulele tracks at a studio in California.
