I was a freshman in high school when i wrote this song. After the earthquake in Haiti, I began to question why innocent people have to suffer such horrible disasters, while others live in luxury with out a care in the world. This thought inspired me to write Funny How The World Works. "There are people living in luxury, their not the ones hit by catastrophe. There are people who work hard and follow the rules, their the ones who loose the duel with fate."
Together, False Vendetta collaborated to build this song into a bluesy/rock rendition of a powerful message.
