Pier - An innovative original six-piece band. Their vibrant, feelgood rock/pop blend is characterised by the strong vocal harmonies of Jen and Tammy and further defined by the distinctive use of both acoustic and twelve-string guitars, giving that unmistakeable summer sound.
Pier''s mini album, ''Longjump'', was recorded and released in 2002. Following a pre-launch gig at The Fleece in Bristol their first album, ''Sweet Medicine'', was released on 16th August 2006.
The band has played at Bristol’s leading music venues including The Louisiana, The Fleece, The Bunch of Grapes and The Fiesta Havanna. They have also played at Moles in Bath.
Following their set on ''John Peel Day'' 2005 at The Bunch of Grapes the promoter said …
