This song was written by the composer coming home from the Kerrville (Texas) Music Festival for songwriters. Of course, being held in Texas, a good number of attendees were Texans who wrote about Texas being big, and proud and their ''oversized lives''. The song dishes them up a little good natured humility while complimenting their joy for living.
