I began playing guitar at age 15. Even then the drive to do something creative was evident - ''the guitar was there for me to write songs, it''s why I picked it up and it''s why I won''t put it down. I play a kind of ''unfluffy'' acoustic music. I tend to find acoustic music these days tends to be full of people with ''pretty voices'' playing ''pretty songs'', this is an attempt to get away from that. I also have a heavy interest in poetry, not the english tea party kind but the blood and guts, fire and lightning kind.
