"EVETT/VIGROUX" recorded in France in August 2002 immediately following Ned''s last European tour -- were improvised in the studio. The album features Ned EVETT on vocals and fretless electric and acoustic guitars and Franck VIGROUX on electric and acoustic fretless and fretted guitars. Ned also adds human beat-box rhythms and Franck supplies some sampled noises and textures.
Ned Evett, one of the world''s foremost fretless guitarists and the winner of the 2003 North American Rock Guitar Competition also recently opened for Joe Satriani 2002/2003 european and US tour.
European avant-garde performers Franck Vigroux featured in european press for his pioneering work with fretless electric guitar. "Intelligent and convincing improvisations and compositions that disturb and delight" The London Guitar Festival.
