ROCKER NANCY RANCOURT TOOK ON TOMMY LEE
“ Nancy Rancourt says what’s on her mind and she doesn’t care who’s listening. She publicly lambasted CBS’s Rockstar Supernova and called out rocker Tommy Lee for his comments about women. No matter what comes down the sometimes sleazy pikes of the music business, Rancourt’s determined to make it on her own terms’. (by Renne Westbrook) ...Rest of this story in Curve Magazine

THE HAMILTON SPECTATOR:
Feature Article: ASTOUNDING VOCALS FROM STUDIO KNOW-IT-ALL
“The fact that Rancourt has been able to pull it off is as much a testament to her abilities as a technician as her strength a performer”. “True to the profile of it’s maker, the album is a collection of scrappy heart-on-sleeve tunes that buzz with emotion”. Nancy Rancourt is a petite pretty woman from steeltown, not the burly Man of Steel type…on the inside though, They’re basically equals. (by Glenn Nott)
“I love Nancy Rancourt’s voice, it’s creamy goodness”
(by James McGarry)
Feature Article: NANCY RANCOURT PROVES
SHE IS AN AMAZING ROCK AND POP SINGER
“She can tear right into a rocker (song) or slip silently
around a ballad with just as much ease. ‘The Character’
(the song)…Rancourt herself sounds almost like Julie
Andrews in this classy pop song that sounds
as if Billy Joel could have written it (since it sounds
somewhat like “You’re always a Woman to me”). It
features multiple layers of beautiful harmonies”
(by Raymond Arsonault)
CRAIG PARKS (Entertainment Lawyer): "Great Tierce de Picardi in ''Inhale Me'', I personally find it hauntingly beautiful…(I) have found her to be a talented musician and songwriter.”
DAYS OF GRACE (Independent Group):
“(She) enhanced our music and lives forever,
she taught us much in the art of creating a song.”
DAN CUTRONA (Keyboardist: Air Supply, Jesse Dixon, Bee Gees, Al Green):
(This) writing of (hers) is brilliant. She has a very strong musical and artistic sense. The songs are great, the singing is great, and the ideas are great, the ideas are right, and that says her instincts are good.
…IT’S IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER.
Buckle Your Seatbelts!
DYKES call her their pocket-sized sex goddess…
… LIPSTICK LESBIANS refer to her as their
dominating bulldog in heels
½ OF THE LOVELY (and might we say very well dressed) FAGGY BOYS adore her in likeness to Judy Garland, Madonna, Barbara Streisand, and Cher…
…WHILE THE OTHER ½ OF (also well dressed) GAY MEN often get a little confused and think that she’s a guy dressed in drag posing as a female singer…
…um, she’s not a guy but that’s a fantastic perception to hear about..
…THEN THERE’S THE FUN DANCING FEMME-FAGS
(and wow their sense of style is incredibly stunning!), who actually approach Rancourt
to reveal their sexual attraction to her,
despite the fact that they’re gay! That’s too Cool!
Mind puzzling but flattering no less! Oh My!
And, of course, there’s her
HETEROSEXUAL fan base.
Hey, diversity is great! Sweet!!!
And last but not least, the TEENAGED fan base has been growing rapidly, much to our surprise and lack of preparation for, nonetheless, we’re thrilled that these young fans express how inspired they are by Rancourt’s songs, stage command, and enthusiasm! Rancourt is also considering releasing a ‘youth-targeted’ release in the future, to respond to requests from fans ages 8 to 16.
We’d like to take this opportunity to advise you that
NANCY RANCOURT IS IN FACT A FEMALE since birth.
Androgynous? Perhaps! It’s in the eye of the beholder!
