Born in the 90''s, raised in the 60''s. Survivor of wars both hot & cold. Ignorer of indifference towards alliterative alliances, personally produced.
There was a time when the pure (not to say accurate) vision, clouded though it may have been, was respected and allowed out on weekdays. This time was eclipsed by a period of darkness called "collaboration" wherein visions both pure & impure were thrust together in the interest of "rocking out". This unfortunate period was at length revealed to be the shallow bare-tread no-excuse that it was in fact.
As the toys were picked up and the children were sent home again, lone souls began singing to themselves and listening to themselves and before too long the songs of the one became the songs for the many.
Such was the case, born fully grown, a short elevator ride from reality, Les Izmor took a quiet weekend off and wrote some songs. When all was sung & played, a CD was thus created. Sometime later the process was repeated and a second CD. Then a third. Who knows when this madness will stop?!
Meanwhile, we have Les'' word that the song is king and the song cycle is the domain. Let not therefore the moat of unlikeliness prevent your experiencing these songs, or indeed, these CDs. Hasten, however, to don your wellies, and as always, mind the gap.
